The Star, Friday, July 5, 2002

SENTUL Raya Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of YTL Land & Development Bhd, is set to launch the first Sentul property called The Tamarind at Sentul East, Kuala Lumpur, this weekend.

The Tamarind forms an integral part of the overall Sentul Masterplan encompassing 294 acres and comprising Sentul West and Sentul East, according to Sentul Raya in a statement yesterday.

Starting from RM201,600 to RM295,300, the Tamarind – located along Jalan Sentul - comprises a combination of low-rise and high-rise apartments on prime freehold land.

The three-bedroom apartments in the 31-storey tower blocks come in three different layouts of 1,079 sq ft to 1,345 sq ft.

The Tamarind recently concluded its successful pre-launch exercise where registered buyers were allowed to select the unit of their choice.

In the first two weeks of the pre-launch, 160 units in Tower Block A were snapped up and to date, 50% of the units have been sold.

The Tamarind is accessible via the Sentul KTM Komuter and Sentul Timur LRT stations.

It is also near the proposed Mahameru Highway and the KL North East Expressway. – Bernama
